FAQs: Use cases

AI use cases

Q. How do I work out how best to use the AI version of me to grow my business?

A. For guidance and inspiration about how you could use the AI version of you, take our quick AI use case quiz.

Q. How do I define a clear purpose for my AI?

A. Start by writing a mission statement. Note this in a prominent place to guide your training choices.

You can use this template:

"I'm training [your AI name] to help [target audience] to [outcome for them] for [your business goal]"

With clear objectives, you can upload targeted content, focus training on what matters to your audience, and align your AI with your business goals.

Q. What if I have multiple offers or services - do I need multiple AIs?

A. You can train a single AI to cover multiple topics and services, or create separate AIs. Both approaches work well. The best choice is likely to depend on various factors, including your business setup, use cases, target audiences and branding.

Q. Will offering an AI reduce demand for my in-person coaching?

A. We find the opposite happens! AI access typically increases demand for services rather than replacing them.

  • For prospects: Your AI gives people a preview of your expertise and style, which builds trust and makes them more keen to work with you.
  • For existing clients: Your AI provides valuable 24/7 support between sessions, helping clients stay engaged for longer and make more progress.
  • For your reach: People who might otherwise never access your coaching due to cost, time zones or availability, can now engage with your AI.

You can train it to signpost to you and your other services whenever relevant. Your AI is there to support, rather than replace, your brilliant work!

Q. If I want to use my AI for my current clients to get coaching in between sessions and also for lead gen, do I need two AIs?

A. Not necessarily, but having two AIs can work well for this setup. We recommend training one, then you can let us know if and when you want to add a second. We can enable you to duplicate data from your first and have two on the one account, making it simple to manage, or you can have a second subscription.

Q. Should I make my AI less smart if I want it to generate leads and upsell coaching?

A. We believe you should always make your AI as smart and helpful as possible. Your AI will never be as knowledgeable or amazing as you. The more value people get from your AI for free, the more they'll want to work with the real you! Build reciprocity and trust, so people are more likely to take the next step to access your paid services.

That said, if you are planning to have two AIs, for example, one for lead gen and one for paid coaching, you might train the lead gen one with less knowledge than the other, so you have a natural upsell.

Q. I'd like to change the purpose of my AI from lead generation to providing value for my current clients. What steps should I take?

A. First, decide if you want to adjust your existing lead generation AI or whether you'd like to keep this and also train a second AI. If you'd like a second AI, let us know, and we can add this.

If you want to adjust your existing AI, here are some suggested steps:

  • Change the 'AI approach' in the style and tone room to 'Add maximum value' instead of 'Generate inquiries'.
  • Review your AI's starter prompts in engagement and edit to reflect your current clients' common queries.
  • Review any prompts and completions in your training data that might only be relevant to prospective enquirers, then edit or delete as relevant.
  • Consider whether there's any other information you could train your AI on to make it as helpful as possible for your clients.

Q. Can my AI deliver a course/learning programme?

A. Your AI can certainly support your students through your course, helping them engage with the content, providing encouragement and answering questions.

The ideal setup might be to combine a dedicated course platform, such as Teachable, Kajabi or ThriveCart, with your AI. That way, you'll have a place to organise and share your course modules and content, and track student progress. Then you can embed your AI chat into the course modules or link to your AI's share page, so the students have 24/7 access to your AI.

Q. Can I use my AI to support a membership or community?

A. Yes! Your AI can give members 24/7 access to your expertise - answering questions, helping them apply what they're learning, guiding them to the right resources and providing encouragement.

You can embed your AI directly into your membership platform (if it supports custom HTML) or share a link to your AI's share page or landing page. For setup options, see our FAQs on access and charging.
