Offering voice input
Coachvox has a speech-to-text function so your clients can dictate their messages to your AI instead of typing them. This makes your AI more accessible as some people prefer speaking to typing.

Speaking to an AI
To dictate a message, the user clicks the microphone icon in the chat box, speaks their message, then clicks the microphone icon again.
Their spoken words will be converted to text on screen, and they will have the option to edit the text before sending their message.
Your AI will reply in writing.
This feature currently works in English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Note: A user may need to allow their web browser to enable the microphone on the first occasion.
Managing voice input
The voice input option is on by default, but you can choose to disable it if you don't think it will suit your audience. To do this:
- Go to your AI settings and find the speech-to-text toggle under 'access settings'.
- Adjust the toggle to turn it off or on.
