Offering voice input

Coachvox has a speech-to-text function so your clients can speak their messages to your AI instead of typing them. This makes your AI more accessible as many people prefer speaking to typing.

Speaking to an AI

This feature currently works in English, German, French and Spanish.

To dictate a message, the user clicks the microphone icon in the chat box and their words are converted to text on screen. They have the option to edit the text before sending their message.

Your AI will reply in writing.

Note: A user may need to allow their web browser to enable the microphone on the first occasion.

Managing voice input

The voice input option is on by default, but you can choose to disable it if you don't think it will suit your audience. To do this:

  • Go to your AI settings and find the speech-to-text toggle under 'access settings'.
  • Adjust the toggle to turn it off or on.
